Jack Buchanan was stage actor, director, producer, manager and film star all at the same time. He produced many of his own films and appeared frequently on the London stage. His career began, on the stage in 1912 and during the 20s went to Broadway, appearing with Beatrice Lillie and Gertrude Lawrence among others.
