Born Nora Rosamund Jones in Tottenham, London (England) on the 19th of October 1913. Started performing on the stage at the
Shakespeare memorial theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon and then did a season in London which led to films.
Grey eyed, with reddish blonde hair she came into starring roles a little late in her career but nevertheless gave several good
performances in films such as "The First of the Few" (1942) and "Green for Danger" (1946).
